Introducing Machangulo

The beautiful Machangulo peninsula is an unspoilt African wilderness situated in the Southern most part of Mozambique adjacent to Inhaca and Portuguese Islands in the Bay of Maputo. It has a land area of thousands of hectares and has over 20 kilometres of cinnamon colored sand beaches on the warm Indian Ocean. Within the peninsula are twelve substantial lakes and a vast territory of natural indigenous bush. The coastline falls within a marine reserve protecting endangered turtles and is flanked by the calmness of the bay on the Western side, the wildness of the Indian Ocean on the East and a major safari game reserve to the South. The estate’s private and exclusive landing strip is just 20 minutes flight from Maputo, the capital of Mozambique.

There are a handful of villas widely scattered along the 22 km / 14 miles of ocean coastline of the Machangulo Private Nature Reserve so peace and privacy is assured. Each home is unique in character with the style, design and interior reflecting the taste of its owner.
